I’ve got a 2017 MKX with the 6F50 and it’s been doing this harsh engagement into reverse and sometimes flaring between 4th and 5th. A buddy sent me a link to https://gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/lincoln/ but I can’t tell if they actually know these Ford based transmissions or if it’s just a generic page. Before I drive over from Dubai I’d love to know if anyone has real experience with them, like did they properly diagnose a solenoid issue or just swap the fluid and call it fixed? I’m not looking for the cheapest option, just someone who won’t mess up my daily driver. Any honest feedback would be great.
