I’ve got a 2014 Mini Countryman that’s starting to squeak every time I brake at low speeds, and the last time I took it to a general garage they somehow managed to trigger the brake pad wear warning light even though the pads were still fine. Now I’m paranoid about going anywhere that doesn’t specialize in Minis or BMWs, because I’ve heard the sensor system can be finicky.
